昨日の視察の後、家に戻るために空港に向かった。
After the site inspection yesterday, we went to the airport to come back home.
羽田空港の天候が悪かったせいで、搭乗する飛行機の到着が遅れ、出発が２時間遅れた。
Due to the bad weather in Haneda Airport, an aeroplane we’re supposed to ride was a late arrival and our flight’s departure time was also delayed 2 hours.
わたしは先輩と一緒にラウンジで仕事をしていたが、飛行機が遅れた補償として航空会社より1,000円をもらった。
My boss and I were working at the lounge and the aeroplane company gave ¥1,000 to each passenger as compensation.
いままで国際線で配られることがなく、初めての対応である。
I have experienced flight delays many times but it has never happened.
とはいえ、ご飯を食べる暇がなく、そのまま持ち帰って後で使うことにした。
However, we didn’t have time to have some meals because of the work and kept it in our wallets.
