I attended a resident information session on my project remotely which was on developing a renewable energy power plant.
その存在を完全に忘れていたが、開始５分前に妻が思い出してくれて助かった。
I totally forgot about it, however, my wife remembered and reminded me of the session 5 minutes prior.
説明会では工事の概要を説明し、質疑応答を行った。
We explained the outline of the construction and had a Q&A Session in the meeting.
中には、工事を断固として認めない住民もいたが、区長は理解をしてくれ、なんとか全体として合意を得ることができた。
One of the attendees was dead set against our explanation, however, the leader of the residents was positive about our construction description. This meant that we could get approval from the residents.
