Facebookで学生時代からの友達が難関資格を取得したと公表しているのを見つけた。
One of my friends from high school posted on a page on Facebook that he passed a difficult certification exam.
それを見て羨ましいと思ったが、自分も資格取得に向けて努力したいとは思わない。資格、とくに日本語でのものは日本でしか通用せず、わたしが目指す将来には役に立たない可能性が高い。
Even though I envied him when I saw it, I don’t want to make an effort to get a certification. Certifications, especially written in Japanese, are valid only in Japan. Thus, they seem likely to be useless in my vision of the future.
であれば、副業を継続しつつ、少しでも今の稼ぎを伸ばしていきたい。
Currently, I want to increase my income by keeping my side hustle.
