妻が部屋掃除をしているとき、自分のベッドが壊れているのを見つけた。
My wife found damage to her bed frame while cleaning the wooden floor below the bed.
早速、近くに家具屋がないかをインターネットで探してみると、歩いてすぐのところに修理を行ってくれるお店を見つけ連絡してみた。
We looked up a furniture shop near our apartment and found it quickly. It is a short walk from our house and I made a phone call to them.
写真も送ったが状態を見てみないと判断できないというので、夕方に担当者が見に来てくれた。
Although I sent a picture that showed the damaged part before calling, he couldn’t give an opinion unless he saw it in person. He proposed that he would check the frame in the evening and I agreed.
上からの負荷による桟の脱落に見えるが、ビスを打ち付けるだけでは弱いというので、家具屋に持って帰っての修理となる。
According to his estimation, it just fell out the frame vertically due to the people load sleeping above it.
He told us that he will bring the frame to his office since securing the broken frame with a screw would make the structure of the bed weak.
完了まで数日かかるというので、来週の妻子がいないときに修理してもらうことにした。
We asked him to fix it next week since my wife and son will not be home.
