電車で到着後、出雲市を終日観光した。
I went sightseeing in Izumo-city after arriving.
まずは、目的の日御碕灯台を訪れた。
Firstly, I visited Hinomisaki lighthouse, which is where I wanted to go.
日本でも数少ない中に入れる灯台ということで、中に入って東洋一高いと言われる頂上からの景色を見てきた。
This is one of the few lighthouses people can enter, so I went up and saw the scenery from the top. The height of the lighthouse is the tallest in Asia.
天気がとてもよく、遠くまで見渡すことができた。
I was able to overlook the sea of Japan in the nice weather.
灯台から外に出ると、メガネが飛ばされそうなくらい風が強かったのと、歩けるスペースがそこまで広くなかったので、恐怖を感じた。
I am afraid of heights, so when I was on the balcony and since the balcony space was narrow I was cautious. It was so windy that my glasses could have blown away.
また、いつものことだが、海を見るとなんだか少し怖い感じがする。それを今日も感じた。
I felt lonely today as usual when I saw the sea.
