今日も以前の職場でお世話になった先輩と食事をしてきた。
I had lunch with my senior who had worked in the same department together.
職場がいっしょになった当時は、厳しい人であまり好きではなかったが、その厳しい指導があって、いまのわたしがあると考える。
When I first saw him, I didn’t like him because he was a strict person. But thanks to his training, I am who I am.
食事をしている間も、マスクを外している間の会話は控えようと提案され、食事に集中できた。
He suggested that we should eat lunch silently without chatting and I enjoyed eating the nice meal.
この前、ラーメン屋にて注意されたこともあったので、他の人と食事をする際には、この先輩のように提案すれば静かに食事ができるとわかったので、次からやってみようと思う。
I have had eaten at the ramen shop before and found out that I would like to eat in silence like him. I will give it a try when I go out with someone next time.
