昨日の会社からの帰り道、全車指定席の列車に乗ってデッキに立っていたら検札にあった。
My train ticket was inspected by a train conductor while I was standing on the deck of a train that only had reserved seats on the way home last night.
乗車した電車の座席指定は受けてなかったが、それより後の時間の指定席をとっており料金は払っていたので追加料金を払うことはなかったので助かった。
Even though I didn’t have the ticket for the train, I didn’t need to pay extra money for it because I had a reserved seat ticket for a train later that day.
はじめて全車指定席の列車にのったが、デッキに立っていても検札されるのを初めて知った。
This was the first time riding on an only reserved seat train and I realized that my ticket was to be inspected even standing on a deck.
わたしと同じくデッキに立っていた人の中には、それを知らずに乗っていたので、追加料金を徴収されているひともいた。
Some passengers were standing on the deck with me and they paid extra money since they might have non-reserved seat tickets.
