大みそかということで、実家に家族全員が集合した。
My whole family got together at our parents’ house on New Year’s eve.
昨年はコロナでできなかったので、２年ぶりである。
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were not able to gather last year, so it was the first time in 2 years.
そして、全員で年越しそばを食べた。
We all ate soba called Toshi Koshi soba which is a traditional noodle dish eaten on New Year’s Eve in Japan.
１年の最後に、お昼からお腹いっぱい食べることができた。
Since I was full at the end of the year, I was happy.
来年も家族みんなで会えること、そして全員が健康であることを願う。
I hope that we all see each other and be healthy next year as well.
