今日は応札者との契約交渉に臨んだ。
I had a contract negotiation with a bidder.
1回目なので今後の方針、進め方、参加メンバーの紹介などを行ったあと、応札者から応札額に対する説明があった。
Since this was the first time to have a meeting with the bidder, we confirmed the purpose, steps, and attendees. After that, the bidder explained his verification of the proposed price.
相手は交渉に慣れているメンバー、提案されている内容に多少の勘違いがあったとしても、提案はしっかりしたものであった。
They’re used to negotiating prices and I thought that his proposal was justified even though some of them had miscalculated because of their misunderstanding.
しかし、こちらはといえば、市況価格や想定価格から高い、しかいわないので、価格を下げるのは難しいと思う。
However, our team only pointed out that their prices were higher than a market price and/or our expectations. I don’t think we can reduce the price.
